Increasing the quality of life in the community. Viewed as a healthy extension of the family and as an indispensable step towards school, Elpis Kindergarten participates in the general goal of harmonious mental, spiritual, moral and aesthetic formation of children.

The educational space is arranged according to the development of instructive-educational activities on age levels. The furniture meets ergometric standards for preschool children. The children benefit from four group rooms heated by the floor and equipped with computers, copiers, overhead projector, teaching materials adequate to the requirements of the quality standards of pre-primary education in the country. The dining room, the bedroom, the kitchen are arranged in accordance with the legal norms. The isolator, the small reception hall, the educational resource center, the festive hall and the playground in the courtyard complete the environmental space and the offer of services. The library for teachers offers over 800 titles of specialized books and over 200 educational resources on electronic support, dictionaries, children's albums, drawings, educational games, party costumes, puppet theater. The building is secured with an anti-burglary and fire alarm system, indoor and outdoor surveillance cameras and emergency prevention equipment. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, water filtration system, dishwasher, and the preschool room benefits from a professional air purifier.
The schooling plan for the 2018-2019 school year is 80 children. There are currently 84 children enrolled.
The kindergarten offer includes four homogeneous groups, English with teacher - three days a week and extended program. The options are addressed to the artistic component, music education and practical household activities for the purpose stated in the educational strategy of "education through experiment" in order to develop children's abilities and action skills. The kindergarten creates a socio-relational environment that stimulates positive and pleasant cognitive, affective and behavioral responses during the “Otherwise Week” program, extracurricular projects and local and international partnership activities.
The extended program is atypical due to the correlation of teaching strategies at mixed age levels, the teacher being a resource trainer for behaviors and life values characterized by love, mutual respect, decency, acceptance of multiculturalism. Didactic communication has a complex structure making informational exchanges through which symbols, images, social meanings are transmitted that take into account long-term attitudinal-behavioral changes. Children learn, for example, through repetition, through the association of meanings, through play through verbal and nonverbal communication so as to reach character traits and positive beliefs as the ultimate educational goal.
The menu of the day is designed following the weekly food survey conducted by the nurse in the unit. The school doctor approves the content of the meals, offering advice and suggestions for associating food according to age needs and daily caloric and nutritional needs.
The instructive-educational activities are addressed to children aged between 2 and 5 years. For children aged 2 to 3 years, guidance-experimental programs are implemented to stimulate socio-emotional development and adaptation of children in the community. The childcare educator together with the teacher for preschool education adopts a personalized curriculum for preschoolers, which includes routines, transitions and activities appropriate to the age of 2-3 years.
The activities in the kindergarten will be carried out integrated, according to daily scenarios with distinct generics. The educators design common and optional activities respecting the theme and subtheme of the week suggested in the National Curriculum. The diversity and variety of materials encourage children to manifest, to observe, to think, to express their ideas, to interpret data, to make predictions. The methodological novelty and the specifics of Elpis PP Kindergarten consist in the practical approach of the activities, the stimulation of the interest for nature and direct experiment, concepts taken from the Dalton and Montessori pedagogies. Instructive dominance also focuses on psycho-relational development by offering viable models of honest, responsible, creative people, able to manage their own talents, able to coexist in a complex multicultural global context.
Short program: 8:00 - 13:00

Long program: 07:00 - 17:00
Includes morning activities related to the short program and After-hours recovery and relaxation activities, breakfast, lunch and snack routines, rest time, non-formal learning activities, medical supervision, games teaching.
The kindergarten work team consists of the principal, teachers for preschool education, English teacher, childcare educator, caregiver, cook, collaborating psychopedagogue, collaborating pediatrician, nurse, mentor, security guard, accountant, ethics counselor, volunteers specialized).

Kindergarten motto "Here, childhood is at home!" it forces us to create a harmonious, safe, family, pleasant environment so that every child feels loved, supported and encouraged to learn and develop healthy and beautiful.
